On the morning of October 13, at 8:30 a.m., Vietnam Television in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training organized the final round of the 24th Road to Olympia competition, which was broadcast live in Hanoi with 4 locations in the provinces and cities where climbers participated in the competition: Hanoi, Thua Thien - Hue, Phu Yen and Gia Lai. This is the first time Phu Yen has students bringing live television coverage of the final round of the competition to the province.

At Phu Yen bridge, connected at Le Trung Kien Stadium (Tuy Hoa City). Comrade Ho Thi Nguyen Thao - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, branches, sectors, unions, localities and a large number of cadres, teachers and students attended to cheer.

Candidate Tran Trung Kien (student of Le Hong Phong High School, Phu Yen) participated in the contest at the Hanoi bridge point.

The contest featured four contestants: Tran Trung Kien (Le Hong Phong High School, Tay Hoa District), Vo Quang Phu Duc (Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, Thu Thien - Hue), Nguyen Nguyen Phu (Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted) and Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Gia Lai).

To support and encourage Tran Trung Kien, Le Hong Phong High School prepared performances and cheers at the Phu Yen bridge.

The contestants went through the following rounds: Warm-up, Overcoming obstacles, Acceleration and Finishing. As a result of the contest, contestant Vo Quang Phu Duc (student of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien - Hue) received a laurel wreath and a prize worth 50,000 USD and the opportunity to study abroad. The second-place contestant, Nguyen Nguyen Phu (student of Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted, Hanoi) received a prize worth 200 million VND.

The third-place contestants, Tran Trung Kien (student of Le Hong Phong High School, Phu Yen) and Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Gia Lai) received a prize worth 100 million VND.


Although he did not win the laurel wreath, contestant Tran Trung Kien is a shining example, encouraging the studious spirit and aspiration of Phu Yen students and is the pride of his home province.
