Functions and tasks
A. DUTIES AND MISSIONS
I. On Infrastructure and Information Technology Applications
1. Coordinate with relevant units to develop and submit to the Director of the Department of Information and Communications (DIC) regulations and rules on management, use, and exploitation of infrastructure, applications, and shared databases of the province; manage the connection of the entire technical infrastructure system of the province.
2. Take the lead and coordinate with units in the province to build a database platform; coordinate with units leasing the Online Public Service Portal to deploy the construction of public services of units, link, and integrate the results of administrative procedure settlement of units onto the Provincial Portal.
3. Advise and propose to the Department of Information and Communications on IT infrastructure projects to complete the construction of a server system, storage system, security system, and domain name resolution server system for the province's data center; projects to build databases, shared software...
4. Manage and operate stably the technical infrastructure of the province's electronic information portal and public administrative services, electronic information pages of departments, branches, districts, towns and cities. Provide guidance on building and sharing infrastructure; on building, updating, integrating, sharing and decentralizing access to the province's shared software and database systems.
II. On Information Security
1. Coordinate the implementation of digital signature applications, solutions to ensure security, safety and confidentiality; support departments, branches, districts, towns and cities in technical aspects to ensure the entire information security equipment system at the units operates stably and effectively.
2. Participate in coordinating and responding to computer incidents, network security, and digital information security.
3. Coordinate with relevant functional units to implement the testing of internal software, shared software, open source software, software installed on server systems; test server equipment systems, network equipment, firewall equipment... of foreign origin before deploying applications in the operations of Phu Yen provincial state agencies.
