Intensive training on information security and safety

On the morning of June 28, the Information and Communications Technology Center organized an intensive training course on information security and safety for students of the provincial network information security incident response team; civil servants and public employees in charge of information technology at departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province.

Attending the event were Mr. Le Ty Khanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications; Mr. Luong Cong Duc, Director of the Center for Information Technology and Communications.
Mr. Le Ty Khanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, stated that the training course aimed to improve capacity and skills in incident management, security event management with the ITSM & SIEM system, thereby proactively investigating potential threats, detecting risks, and resolving problems that disrupt services provided to users in agencies and units. Thereby contributing to promoting the application of IT in the activities of state management agencies in the province.
The training course took place over 3 days, from June 28 to 30. At the training, 35 trainees were taught by lecturers from SMARTPRO Consulting and Training Joint Stock Company on the following topics: Overview of incidents, risks, and dangers; Some concepts related to information security risks; Incident management processes; Reports and displays of DDoS attack detection and early warning; Management of security events with SIEM systems. Along with the theory, students will have discussions and participate in practice in the network environment./.
